If you know Portland history then you know that the The Kingsmen (a Portland band) wrote the smash hit song Louie Louie. Made famous in my generation when it was used in the smash hit movie Animal House (TOGA! TOGA!). What you don’t know is that Mike Mitchell of the Kingsmen (Louie Louie fame) is selling his vintage original 1953 FENDER TELECASTER GUITAR on Craigslist! Take a look.

A little too rich for my blood at $12,000 but a good investment for anyone looking to own a piece of Portland’s music history.
