Designed by Patrick Regan and printed by Portland’s very own Modified (thanks Bob)! these limited edition shirts prominently feature the Hawthorne bridge (my favorite).
Instead of slaping our logo on a white beefy-T and shooting them out of a gun into the audience we wanted to create a company t-shirt that people would actually wear and enjoy (although I have always wanted to shoot one of those T-shirt guns).

Well it wasn’t always pretty but the beer was cold and everyone who came to the Right Brain Water Cooler had a good time. Here are a few photos for all of you who couldn’t make the gig. Amy did a great job with the triva and we got a chance to reconnect with a bunch of old friend and make a couple new ones. Always a good time. Keep your eyes peeled for the next one.
I have said this in the past but there is something great about those who build not for money or recognition but out of pure enjoyment. I believe everyone at this event falls under that category.
The 8th Annual Portland Zine Symposium is on August 23rd & 24th, 2008 in Portland, Oregon in the Smith Memorial Ballroom on the Portland State University Campus. PZS is an annual, free and open to the public zine conference and social.
Man on Wire is a thrilling new documentary directed by James Marsh, tells the story of Philippe Petit’s 1974 high wire walk between the two towers of the World Trade Center. Michael Bierut over at Design Observer did a great post “The best design movie of 2008 is not about a typeface. It’s about a tightrope walker. ” Have a read.
