This is one of the dumbest things I have EVER seen! I believe that it was “created” simple so someone could blog about it. That being said I want one! I could see using it around the house. Say 3 negative things and BOOM ya gotta wear the hat-O-pain! Thoughts?

Ask any aspiring musician friend how much the local recording studio costs to rent out, and they’ll tell you: An arm and a leg. It’s not surprising, then, that some successful rock acts will set up their own places to record.
What might one of these places look like, that is, a large industrial space filled with the equipment of a rock band with some dough to throw around? Check out the Wilco Loft, a (mostly secret) location in Chicago loaded up with musical instruments and recording technology.

Behind the scenes look at hand screenprinting t-shirt company CXXXVI. They even go as far as hand stamping their labels and packaging with the printing date and size.

20 + Years of French Paper Promotions by Charles S. Anderson Design Company. Very cool.

Well, the Mighty Mouse was a flop. How will the Magic Mouse do? A gorgeous place to start, that’s for sure.

OMSI has an “Enter to win a Beard of Bees! ” contest. I don’t know who came up with this but they are a genius! I hear next week the first 100 people through the door get to pet a real porcupine. To answer their question “are you brave enough to wear a colony of 5,000 honeybees on your face.” F-NO! I get freaked out just walking by lavender bush. But if you want to enter here is a link to the contest.

What would you pay to be Don Draper or Roger Sterling? How about to look like them? The Brooks Brothers Mad Men Edition Suit ($1,000; October 19) pays homage to AMC’s hit show with a medium gray sharkskin suit designed by Janie Bryant, the Emmy-nominated costume designer for the show, and is modeled after Draper’s and Sterling’s wardrobes. Features include a noticeably slim cut, diagonal pockets, narrower notch lapels, and side vents. Limited to just 250, the suit is made in a Brooks-owned factory in Massachusetts, and while it might be more classically stylish than your current attire, don’t expect it to magically turn you into Jon Hamm.
